Transfers are dependent on where your destination is. Those staying on outer islands (lucky ducks!) will need multiple transfers while those staying on the main island of Viti Levu, will probably just need a land transfer.

Taxi

Taxis that operate out of Nadi International Airport are individual proprietors with the approval of Airports Fiji Limited, the owner of Nadi International Airport. Airports Fiji Limited is fully government owned. 

The Flag fall rate or starting fare for any journey out of Nadi airport is FJ$5 with a rate of FJ$1 per kilometre. It's mantadory of taxi drivers to use meters but many do not, as my personal experiences also show. So establish the rate first before you hop in.

Air

Air transfers are available via airplanes, seaplanes, and helicopters. Transfers to the outer islands take place during daylight. Transfers are also available on the main island to Suva, select resorts on the Coral Coast, and Pacific Harbour.
