1) Special Romantic E-guides!

If it's romance you want, it's romance you'll get with this edition!

Well, I've been up all night (for days actually), getting everything ready for the first release of the Special Romantic E-guide series. It's to compliment the Fiji Honeymoon section of the site which adds specific suggestions to the mostly general information on honeymoons and romantic getaways.

It's a series of e-guides specifically for couples wanting an amazing romantic getaway, including honeymooning, on a set budget. It gives you the total cost breakdowns in Australian and U.S. dollars for your entire stay in Fiji. The only cost that isn't included are airfares, given the drastic swing in prices mostly due to seasons and to which country you fly from. I'll be releasing e-guides for various budgets.

The first e-book off the shelf is...

"The Perfect Romantic Fiji Vacation... on $500 a day!"

To find out more, visit the Special E-guides section. If you have a set budget and want an amazing Fiji romantic getaway, then this is it!

2) Tips for your Romantic Getaway

I'm feeling particularly romantic this month, so let's continue with the theme!

Fiji is an ideal location for a relaxing tropical romantic getaway. A great facet of Fiji, is it's adults-only resorts.

Budget - The quality adults-only resorts start at around US/AU$300 per night per couple including meals. You can certainly do it for cheaper, although the cheaper you go and lower the quality. These are the two biggest necessary expenses, accommodation and meals.

Timing - if you choose a high quality adults-only resort like I suggest, crowds won't be a problem since each resort limits to around 10 to 20 couples, meaning it maintains it's privacy. No children and no day trippers too.

In general, July and Christmas are peak season. The quiet months are February followed by March, April, and November. Weather doesn't vary much, although the pick would be April through to October (which is busy season and also not cyclone season).

Top Tip : as per my site and e-guides, focus on resorts over packages. Every resort worth it's white beautiful sand has a romantic package of sorts. Meaning, if you pick a random package from the 'net or from a travel agency that is pushing certain resorts, you could end up at a less than ideal resort, perhaps even a busy family resort with kids flying around every corner!

3) Latest Cool Stuff

This month I've starting making interactive maps with place markers inbedded, and gradually placing them on the site.

For a couple of examples visit Top 10 Fiji 'Island' Resorts and Denarau Fiji. If you are a keen golfer, then you must visit the golf section! Just find golf on the navigation bar on the left.

Last month, as I mentioned in the newsletter, I added the webcams section. I've added one more cam, a webcam from Lomani Island Resort. This is particularly cool, as you can check out specific times over a 24 hour time period. To take a gander, visit it here.

Next month, Places to visit in Fiji.

See you then
