1) Special E-guides!

Even though the 'Perfect Getaway Series' of ebooks is new, it has already received a facelift.

The 'Perfect Romantic Series' is released for those romancing couples wanting a Fiji getaway on a budget. E-guides with budgets starting at $250 a day all the way up to $5,000 a day.

The 'Perfect Family Series' is still yet to be released. It will be a 3 e-guide series with budgets of $500. $1,000 and $2,000 a day for the whole family.

Both series are in U.S. and Australian dollars. To get yourself an e-guide and start planning, or for more information, visit the Special Fiji Vacation Guides section on the site.

2) Holiday Season!

Holiday Season (Christmas holidays) is fast approaching. This is peak season for tourists in Fiji, from around Boxing Day to just after New Years.

As you would probably imagine, it will be busy at the family resorts and in the areas of the Coral Coast, Mamanucas, Nadi and Denarau Island.

If you intend to go during this period, it would be wise to start planning. For those wanting to evade the crowds, February is the quietest month for visitors for the whole year.

3) Latest Cool Stuff!

As you have probably noticed, I've changed the whole design of the site and it's looking great (even if I do say so myself ;) ) Actually I really like the new design over the old, and the white background enhances the readability.

Something not quite as noticeable is the new navigational tool located just above the heading of each page. Each time you visit a page, you know where you are in relation to the site. This should improve your navigation!

Some Fijian news, is that the Rugby League World Cup, staged in England, has just started. With Fiji winning their first match against Ireland. Fiji has some very good players, many of which are playing overseas mostly in the Australian competition. Rugby league is not to be confused with 'Rugby' which is a more popular game worldwide. For more on Fijian Rugby, visit our Fiji Rugby section.

I'll be rooting for Fiji and it's great to see their island talent on display!

Next month, Family Getaways in Fiji.

See you then
